Your first portal
From an empty workspace to a portal a customer can log in to. Set aside half an hour if you have the key to the system ready.
- 1Create the workspace and the brandCompany name and address, and one primary colour. The rest of the palette is derived, so the portal looks finished from the very first screen.
- 2Connect an appFind the system in the app library, paste the key, and switch the app on for the portal.
- 3Put content on the front pagePick from the widgets the app gives you. A widget with nothing linked to it is not shown to the user, so the front page is never half empty.
- 4Give a customer accessInvite the person, choose an organisation and a persona, and link the organisation to its record in the system.
- 5PublishThe status menu shows a readiness check first. If there are blockers, the portal cannot be published yet, and every line carries the action that clears it.
The checklist on Overview
The five lines on Overview are not saved answers, they are computed from the state of the portal: does the brand have a logo, is there a connection, has a widget been placed, has access been granted, is the portal published. The list disappears on its own once all five are in place.
