Who opens it
Resellers, distributors, agents and referral partners. Each one sees their own deals and their own terms, which is precisely why giving them a login to your CRM has never been an option.
What they see
The current price list rather than the one attached to an email in March. Sales material and documentation in the current version. Their own pipeline: what has been registered, what is approved, and what has been paid out.
Where it comes from
From your CRM for the deals, your document store for the material, and your finance system for commission. All read live, so a partner quoting from the portal is quoting the price you would quote today.
What it saves you
The partner newsletter that half of them do not read, and the deal registered against a price that expired two quarters ago. It also saves the awkward conversation where a partner has seen a number that belonged to someone else.
What it is not
- Not a PRM system. Your CRM keeps managing the relationship.
- Not a price list to maintain twice. Prices come from the system that already holds them.
- Not a second place to maintain. The portal is what your partners see of it, and nothing more.
