What your customer sees
One portal per customer, on your own domain. When they log in they see their own projects, their own invoices, their own agreements, and nothing belonging to anyone else. They are not given a seat in your CRM and they are not put in a shared inbox. They get a page that answers the questions they would otherwise call you about.
What goes on the page is up to you. A construction client wants progress and drawings. A recruitment client wants where the process stands and which profiles are waiting. A managed-services customer wants hours and equipment. It is the same product in all three cases; the difference is which systems sit behind it.
Where the information comes from
You connect the systems your team already works in. When a customer opens the page, Kilango asks those systems for the answer and puts it on screen. There is no import and no nightly sync, which is why what your customer sees is what your own team sees, at the same moment.
Productive, Pipedrive, Dalux and Fynk can be connected today. If the system you need is not on the list, tell us and we build the connection for you at no charge.

Who sees what
Access is given to one person, in one portal, as part of an organisation. The organisation is tied to the customer as that customer already exists in your own system, and it is that tie which decides what reaches the page. Someone who has not been invited has no way in. Someone who has been invited sees their own organisation and no one else's.
- Person
- The individual who logs in. One email address, one login.
- Organisation
- The company they belong to, linked to the same company in your own system.
- Portal
- The site they log in to. A person can have access to one portal without having access to another.
Setting one up
- 1Choose your lookYour logo, one colour and your own domain. Kilango derives the rest of the palette, so the portal looks finished from the first screen rather than like a template waiting to be styled.
- 2Connect your systemsPick the systems your customers ask about and sign in to them. Kilango then shows you which customers and projects it can match up.
- 3Invite the first peopleSend the first login and link the person to their organisation. Everyone you invite after that gets the same portal, with only their own information in it.
There is no implementation project and no developer. The work is a decision about what your customers should be able to see, and that decision is yours rather than a supplier's.
When a customer calls
The hardest question about any customer portal is what you do when someone says they cannot find their report. In Kilango you open their portal and look at the exact screen they are looking at. You are not guessing from a permissions matrix, and you are not asking them to send a screenshot.
That view is read only and lasts fifteen minutes, and it is recorded afterwards, so it can never quietly become a way of working in a customer's account.
What Kilango does not do
People ask whether Kilango replaces their CRM, their document system or their project tool. It replaces none of them. Those systems carry on doing what they do and your team carries on working in them. Kilango is the window your customers look through, and closing it takes nothing with it.
