Customer portal

A customer portal is the page a customer opens instead of emailing you to ask where things stand.

Who opens it

The people who buy from you and the people at their company who need to know what you delivered: the person who signed, the person who uses it, and the one in accounts who wants the invoice again. They log in with their own email and see their own company, not a shared account that gets passed around.

What they see

Whatever answers the questions they actually ask. Where their order is. What was delivered and when. Which invoices are open. Which agreements are signed and which are waiting for them. Anything you would otherwise look up and paste into a reply.

Where it comes from

From your CRM, your finance system and your document store, read at the moment the page opens. There is no import step and no nightly sync, so a customer never sees a number your own team has already corrected.

What it saves you

The status email. The invoice copy. The call that begins with sorry to bother you again. Those requests do not stop because your team got faster at answering them; they stop because the answer was already on a page with the customer's name on it.

What it is not

  • Not a CRM. Your customer list stays where it is, and Kilango never gets a copy of it.
  • Not an archive. No invoice or document is stored here, so nothing has to be cleaned up later.
  • Not a second place to maintain. Correct it in your own system and the portal is already right.
